[+/-] Framrate setting between 0 and 1 possible ? Hello, this is my first posting here, I use a Logitech sphere AF with Abelcam free 2.2.4(money is on its way) and Logitech 11.5 Driver. I run a webse .. Joerg, I am not sure about how this works in 2.2.4 because I am running 2.3.3(beta) on my machine. I just tried setting my frame rate to 0.2 and it wo.. Ok thank you, I'll try. Is there any advice you can give me concerning the uninstall of my previous version, anything like driver cleaner or so need.. I tried 2.3.3 with Logitech 11.7 driver but Install failed, somthing was not possible to Install. I ll give up here cause the other problems I have wi.. ok, with 2.3.3 I can use framrate 0.5, thats good. [+/-] Extended USB 2 cable ?? Is there a good solution to an extended USB 2 cable? 30+ feet I have tried a powered USB 2 hub but I still have problems, at times, connecting to my .. You could use something like this the extension is made by RJ45 cable and not by USB. You might just make 15meters if you used a USB repeater though t.. I have all sorts of extenders and powered hubs kicking around here but like you say, they don't always wo.. I use several of the extenders that use ethernet cable. Try an ebay search using the terms "USB EXTENSION CABLE OVER" and you will see them. Mixed res.. I also had the same issue. [+/-] problem with IP I have made my webcam working very well.The configuration is the same like it has my friend here Domeniko.His works very well but my not.The problem i .. localhost:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx will only work on the AbleCam Server machine browser. "Your machine name":xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx will work on machines on your priv.. Alexander, if you check 'AutoHost On Startup', AbelCam will fill in the correct IP number every time you start up the web server... I have check Autohost on startup,but today again the same.In this moment network has changed my IP number,and abelcam program has not changed it so th.. Do you use a router? If so, can it be configured to work automatically with a Dynamic DNS service? If so, you can configure the router and the service.. I use router siemens se555 or something like that,and dyn dns which normally must change my ipwhen is already changed from internet,but it doesn´t wor.. I think it might be that your ISP is giving you a new dynamic IP address often. Who is your Internet Service Provider and what kind of network connect.. Also you router has to be configured to pass Your AbleCam port to the correct local machine. Routers use dynamic IP address for local machines also... One more if your AbelCam machine is running a firewall and it should be to help protect it from outside attack. The firewall needs to be configured to.. I keep getting an error that my port is closed. it open till i start the abel cam software. what am i doing wrong.. You need to open the port in your Firewall (You should be running behind a firewall) and if you have a router set up port forwarding to the correct lo.. Everything may run from the AbleCam Server machine Web Browser client and AbelCam server where the client browser addresses the AbelCam server machine.. You can also try using Autohost click on it in the AbelCam Servers and save the configuration AbelCam will replace locahost with the current IP addre.. The currrent cameras will allow you to specify with and without the resolution and quality. The full url would be http://domain.com/SnapshotJPEG?Resol.. You could try using the links found on the PDA pages yourip:39800/pda/cam.html?cam=0 At the top of the page are the links up down \| left right \| home.. Or for that matter you could just use the code for click-on-pic pan/tilt that's in the sample Javascript page (the plain HTML one not the Ajax one). .. Tried the PDA page and I can access that with no problem, but still no movement... I have basically just copied and pasted the contents of the wwwroo..
