Working on LogiSphere 1.0.0 - License change

Although I have received some donations, the rate was not high enough to change my mind and keep it free. I wanted to use a built in payment solution for LogiSphere from kagi.com. I was told necessary components would be available by mid September. They failed to deliver, multiple emails resulted in promises for a testing release for mid November. They have failed to deliver once more, so I will go ahead and implement a web shop using PayPal Web Payments. Changes planned for Version 1.0.0 are: No License the software will shut down web server, video server and camera after 30 minutes. It will not require a internet connection to run, but it will try to connect to logisphere.seiz.ch whenever the web server is started or stopped. Requires internet connection to request a free license. Free License It will not require a internet connection to run, but it will try to connect to logisphere.seiz.ch whenever the web server is started or stopped. If that connection fails, it will behave just like 'No license' and time out after 30 minutes. If the connection succeeds, LogiSphere will run for 6 hours before timing out. Pro License the Pro License will be available for 20 Euros. It will not require a connection to logisphere.seiz.ch unless you want your camera to be listed. Will not time out even if there is no connection to the internet available. LogiSphere 1.0.0 is planned to be released some time before year end, Members will receive a download link as soon as it's available. these terms can be discussed on this thread Some users of LogiSphere have sent a donation. They will be rewarded as follows for donations received until November 20th: donation < 10 EUR: will receive a Pro License for LogiSphere 1.x.x donation > 10 EUR and < 25 EUR: will receive a Pro License for LogiSphere 1.x.x and all future releases donation > 25 EUR: will receive a Pro License and Licenses for modules ) as soon as they are available Donations after November 20th: donation >= 10 EUR: will receive a Pro License for LogiSphere 1.x.x donation > 20 EUR and < 30 EUR: will receive a Pro License for LogiSphere 1.x.x and all future releases donation > 30 EUR: will receive a Pro License and Licenses for modules ) as soon as they are available Other contributions to the LogiSphere development will be valued and rewarded equally. *) I plan to extend LogiSpheres possibilities with modules to support multiple cameras, hardware control and other improvements. Schedule released to the *Selected Few* today, including Pro License If they don't find problems, this version will be release to Members between Friday Dec 9th and Monday Dec 12th. The version will be released to the public one week later. Versions prior to LogiSphere 1.0 (yes, 1.0, I dropped the additional .0 ) will not work after Friday 23rd of December. Changes Implemented Markus' proposal to support inverting left/right New License entry form, covers Free and Pro License. Starting from 1.0, License and Info requests will have to be initiated manually by a Send Request button, as the previous procedure was confusing many people. Resolved problems with startup using frame rates <= 1fps Removed unused code Minor improvements on the applets and on the JavaScript code (sizing mostly)

I am unable to reproduce this problem 3) Options / Webserver/logfile, I set it to c:\access.log but it displays c:\\access.log I assume this has been like that all the time, but noticed only now. Fixed As soon as 2) is resolved as well, I will provide the updated release.

It is still timing out in 30 min. Aparently its unable to link with logisphere.seiz.ch? I'm behind a router so I set a path for the 8080 and 8090 ports. Am i missing something? -d

That is correct. My short visit in your chat revealed that you had a problem with the router configuration. The problem is resolved now.
