Email on motion error - CDO.Message object

I am in palm springs currently and just installed logisphere for a client here (is this worthy of commission perhaps?) Anyways, its all working fine except his "email on motion" which gives me the error Could not access 'CDO.Message' object i am assuming that perhaps he has given me the wrong smtp server info thus kicking the error back to me. But i had to at least ask since i do not know what CDO.Message is. Thanks, Josh PS: maybe its worth an extra cam license for each new user i get to pony up a purchase?

Basically, NG gives more details when an attempt to send email fails, and from that it emerged that SMTP authentication problems seems to be a leading cause of mailing failures. I wrote up a work-around in that thread, using the receiving domain's MX instead of the sending domain's SMTP. Works fine here - worth a try perhaps.
